AMAZING RACE IN MAERSKLAND ISLAND

Cao Minh eco-tourism zone has been transformed into Maerskland island in the 2010 team building program of Maersk Line container shipping company on Oct 2, 2010.

120 Maersk Line employees are the citizens in the beautiful Maerskland island. People The people of Maerskland deeply believe in their core values as citizens, include: modest, uprightness, constant care, collective strength & traditional country. And the government of Maerskland is promoting a new developing strategy for the future based on collaboration, continuous process improvement and Customer satisfaction.

Maerskland has 10 shipping companies, they have to overcome the competition to become “The leading carrier” in the maritime transportation. There are 3 stages of challenge:
• Stage 1: Goods receiving
• Stage 2: Goods delivering
• Stage 3: Goods checking

Criteria to assess the competition:
1. In order to win this challenge we need to carry a container box safely to destination as per customer requirements
2. Customer requires cargo to be delivered completely and undamaged. The cargo are some colorful eggs, easily fragile when transporting
3. If one of the eggs breaks, you can purchase one more egg. You can buy maximum one egg of each color. Price increases after each hour.
4 Teams must overcome the challenge games for each stage. The winning team will receive prize and goods.
5. Each team will be provided a map to locate the challenging stages.

Before 16:30, the 10 carriers have trasported the cargoes to the New York port - the final destination. Goods in the container is opened to be tested, all safe. However, the title of "The leading carrier" has belonged to the team with cost savings and security personnel during their tasks performing.
